Changing up my production process

I just purchased a Flip Mino HD in black. Until today I have been shooting my reviews with my Canon G9 in video mode. The problem with that camera is that it is not a video camera, it’s a digital camera. It does a great job for what it is but I want something a little more mobile. Hopefully it will work well for me. I have the Canon 5D on pre-order which takes amazing video and pictures. I will switch to that when it comes in.

Updates to the iTunes Feed

I made some changes to the iTunes feed. I am now running everything through the blog which is powered by Wordpress. I love Wordpress.

Anyhow, I am re-adding all of the reviews to the iTunes feed so if you only see about 1/2 of them right now, that is because I took a break. I will have them all back in the iTunes feed shortly. However, all of the videos are on the website still, so don’t worry.

What do you all think about a discussion forum?

I am thinking about installing a discussion forum to chat about apps, iphone, ipod, apple or whatever. Just a place to collaborate and chat it up as I have gotten to know so many of you through Twitter.

Mint says I spend to much on iTunes, lol

I love Mint.com, it’s an amazing tool and helps me realize how much money I spend on stuff. Today I got a friendly email from Mint telling me I spend to much money on music (aka iTunes).

App Scout reviews the iPhone App Podcast

Today AppScout.com did a review on the best iPhone App Review sites. We are listed at the top. Yes! (insert Austin Powers voice over).

To answer their question. I use Viddler because they allow me to link to the original file I uploaded where as Vimeo only allows you to download the file via. redirect. This does not work for a podcast. I will however be creating a Vimeo account and uploading all of the reviews to vimeo soon.
